Bread was cooked there
In Normandy, Western France, nearby Mont Saint Michel and Brittany, on the estate of Boucéel there was a very old bread oven. During harvest time there were cooking there bread for the château’s farm employees... During WWII American planes on the 6th of June 1944 bombed the road nearby the château. One of them shook so much the ground that the oven had COLLAPSED becoming a complete ruin.
Nicole and I loved the architecture and roof of the building so in 1992 the Bakery was totally renovated and transformed into an adorable small house for four people, 2 bedrooms, and shower room. You will find comfort, calm and rest. Private garden, barbecue, garden furniture, parking... Swimming pool, shared, heated from May to October, 9am/7pm, nearby.
